From classical to jazz, the Clarinet is a flexible instrument that is used in a variety of genres. In the woodwind family, the Clarinet has the broadest range of pitch, in part, due to its intricate key organization.

The signature sound of the Clarinet is produced by passing a steady stream of air through the mouthpiece.  Through Clarinet instruction, students learn about pitch and tone-quality from the various works of repertoire they will learn.
