A SEVEN STEP GUIDE AND WHAT TO EXPECT

 

GETTING STARTED
If you’re planning to apply for a position at Visalia Music School, here’s what you can expect at each step of the way.

1. INITIAL ENTRY PERIOD
Check postings and apply for positions of interest.
Also, you will be asked to attach a resume to your application.

2. APPLICATION REVIEW
Management will review your qualifications against the requirements for the position. If we feel there’s a good fit, we’ll contact you. →

3. PHONE INTERVIEW
Management will conduct a phone interview with you to further discuss your qualifications and your interest in Visalia Music School. This is a great opportunity for you to ask questions about the position and the school. →

4. ONSITE INTERVIEW
During the onsite interview, you’ll have the chance to learn more about the position from your potential manager, department colleagues, team members, and human resources. We encourage you to come with questions. →

5. REFERENCES & OFFER
Before making any final decisions, we'll contact your references to ensure that your skills and personality match the position. If you are not selected for a position after your interview, you will be notified by our team. →

6. PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING
Typically, pre-employment screening includes education and employment verification, a background check, social security verification, TB test, and a drug test. →

7. ONBOARDING
Once you've accepted an offer, our orientation program will introduce you to company policies, products, and the onboarding plan your manager has created for you.
